Before calling, please carry out these quick steps:
- Run your kitchen tap: If the water is lukewarm (below 50°C) → this indicates an Energy Centre issue
- Check your bathroom taps and shower: If the kitchen tap is hot but others are not → this may be a blend valve issue
- Check your shower temperature settings: Adjust the mixer or thermostat if needed

⚠️ Heating and hot water are managed by Hemiko (Energy Centre) — not FirstPort.
Follow these steps first:
- Check your wall programmer: If the screen is blank → replace the batteries
- If the programmer still doesn't work: Contact Box & Charnock for assistance
- If the programmer is working but no heating: This is likely an Energy Centre issue

Report broken lifts to FirstPort immediately. The emergency number is usually posted inside the lift. If someone is trapped, call 999.
Contact TRA and we'll escalate formally.
- Green lid containers: General waste
- Orange lid containers: Recycling — paper, cardboard, plastics and glass. Please fold cardboards.
- Brown (compost): Food waste only
⚠️ Do not leave bags on the floor or in communal areas to avoid rodents or bugs. Bin bags correctly inside the appropriate container.
Collections are managed by Ealing Council. Check your collection day on the Ealing Council website. Communal bins are typically collected once weekly.
Both tenants and residents are welcome to join.
There are elections every 2 years. Committee roles can also be voted on at the AGM.
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is dedicated to serving your community. To contact them about local policing issues:
